This training is for dedicated students who feel that yoga has become more than a physical practice.

  • It’s for those who want to understand why yoga works, not just how to move through it.

  • For practitioners craving consistency, mentorship, and a deeper relationship with their practice.

  • For those curious about teaching—but who don’t need to have that decision made on day one.

Whether your path leads you to teaching or simply to a more informed, embodied practice, this training meets you where you are.

Imagine a weekend where your practice feels steadier, your questions are welcomed, and you leave clearer—not just physically, but internally.

What you’ll study

This training isn’t just about what you’ll learn—it’s about how your relationship to yoga evolves.

  • Asana and alignment

  • Intelligent sequencing

  • Yoga philosophy and history

  • Functional anatomy and injury awareness

  • Breathwork and meditation practices

  • Teaching methodology and effective communication

  • Ethics, presence, and the role of the teacher

  • The business and realities of teaching yoga

Teaching team

Your Instructors

This training is led by Alex Stein, owner of Yoga Mix, alongside Jessie Fletcher as co-lead teacher.

Together, Alex and Jessie are known for teaching that is clear, grounded, and relational—where students feel both challenged and genuinely supported—without ego or pressure to perform.

The training will also include guest teachers and professionals from our local community, offering perspectives in anatomy, philosophy, and lived teaching experience.

STRUCTURE & COMMITMENT

This training is designed to be immersive, steady, and manageable alongside real life. Below is a simple overview of how the program is structured, what’s expected of you, and how support is built into the process.

    • In-person training weekends held at Yoga Mix

    • Guided personal practice throughout the training period

    • Independent study, reading, and reflection between weekends

    • Ongoing mentorship and check-ins with lead teachers

    The structure is consistent and predictable, allowing learning to build over time.

    • March 6–8

    • March 13–15

    • April 10–12

    • April 24–26

    • May 1–3

    • May 15–17

    • June 5–7

    • June 12–14

    • June 26–28

    • July 10–12

    • July 24–26

    Friday evenings, with full training days on Saturday and Sunday.


    Specific daily times will be announced closer to the start date.

    The schedule includes two sets of back-to-back weekends to accommodate holidays and travel timing.

  • Between weekends, students are expected to:

    • Maintain a regular personal practice

    • Complete assigned readings or reflections

    • Practice teaching or observation as introduced in training

    • Stay engaged with the group and instructors

    This work is designed to be meaningful—not overwhelming—and is supported throughout the training.

Life happens. If challenges arise, communication with the lead teachers is encouraged so support and options can be discussed.

The investment for this training is designed to reflect the depth of instruction, mentorship, and support offered throughout the program.

Tuition: $3,500
Early Bird: $3,200 (through February 6)

A $500 non-refundable deposit secures your spot.
The remaining balance may be paid in full or through an available payment plan prior to the start of training.

What’s Included in Your Training Investment

Your training investment includes:

  • Full 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum

  • All required contact hours and training weekends

  • Training manuals, materials, and guided study

  • Ongoing mentorship and instructor support

  • Eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance upon completion

  • Studio access options during the training period (outlined below)

Studio Access During Training

Students may choose the level of studio access that best supports their practice:

  • Current Yoga Mix members: Continue your membership as usual

  • New members: Receive 50% off a Yoga Mix Flex membership during training

  • Students not wishing to hold a membership: Access to select classes designated for training students is included

This structure allows flexibility while supporting consistent practice throughout the program.

FAQ

  • No. While this training meets the requirements for Yoga Alliance certification, it is also designed for students who want to deepen their personal practice, study yoga more thoroughly, and grow in self-awareness and embodiment.

    Many students begin the training curious about teaching, without needing to decide right away.

  • If you feel drawn to deepen your practice, study yoga beyond the physical shapes, and engage in a committed learning environment, this training is likely a good fit.

    We’re also happy to talk with you directly if you have questions or want support in deciding.

  • The full schedule of training weekends is listed above, under Structure & Commitment. The training runs from March–July 2026 and follows a consistent every-other-weekend rhythm.

  • Yes. Students who complete all required hours, coursework, and assessments will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance upon graduation.

  • Tuition is $3,500, with an early bird rate of $3,200 available through February 6.
    A $500 non-refundable deposit secures your spot.

  • Students may pay in full or choose from available payment plans. Full details will be provided during registration.

    • Current Yoga Mix members continue their membership as normal.

    • New members receive 50% off a Yoga Mix membership for the duration of the training.

    • Students who do not wish to hold a membership will have access to select classes designated for training students, included in tuition.

  • Attendance is an important part of the training. Any missed sessions must be discussed with the lead teachers in advance, and make-up requirements may apply.

  • The $500 deposit is non-refundable and secures your place in the training. Additional refund policies will be outlined in the registration agreement.

  • Yes. Enrollment is limited to 20 students to ensure quality instruction, meaningful mentorship, and adequate individual attention throughout the training.
